We won't see your feet. In addition to your chosen outfits, here’s a list of some other things you may need.

Cardigans, light jackets and other items for layering

Proper bras/hosiery/undergarments

Accessories: hats, belts, watches, jewelry, cuff-links, hair bands.
-
Shaving kit (for guys to get both scruffy and clean shaven shots)
-
Any props that you feel will elevate the shots
-
Old headshots or reference photos to help you communicate your tastes
-
Music playlist that will keep you focused and at ease
CAN I DO MY OWN HAIR & MAKE-UP OR BRING MY OWN STYLIST?
You’re welcome to do your own hair and makeup or bring a stylist, however, it is strongly encouraged that you use our in house stylists. Their familiarity with our photographer, style, and lighting will ensure a successful session. If you'd like to bring someone along for moral support and/or to help you in wardrobe styling, please feel free!
WHERE DOES THE SHOOT TAKE PLACE?
The studio is in a private apartment in Washington Heights. We can shoot either indoors or outdoors in the surrounding neighborhood depending on the look we are attempting to achieve and based on weather conditions on the day of the shoot.
HOW DO I GET TO THE STUDIO?
Subway - take the A train to the 171st Street stop in Manhattan
Driving - plenty of street parking available on our block.
HOW CAN I PAY?
We accept, cash, VENMO, or PayPal.
CAN I GET MY ORIGINAL HIGH RES PHOTOS? WHAT ABOUT PURCHASING ADDITIONAL PHOTOS?
Unfortunately not. They remain the property of the photographer. However, you will be able to download from the gallery in a high res format with the watermark. Photos will not be released sans watermark without additional payment. Additional edited photos are $30 each, which includes full editing and color correction. A group of 10 unedited but color corrected photos sans watermark useful for online purposes can be purchased for $50. This ensures that the photographers work is always represented properly to the public with you looking your very best in the photos!
IS IT POSSIBLE TO USE A THIRD PARTY TO EDIT MY PHOTOS?
Certainly, however it is not recommended. Much of the "magic" of the photo is done in post. Think of this as a piece of art. Would you ask an artist to let someone else finish their work? We do realize that there are professional services who do this, however, and if you have a service that you would rather edit your photos, we can send them an appropriate file for each photo included in the package. If you would like additional photos not already included in your package to be edited by an outside editor, the cost is $30 per photo sent directly to the editor.
DO YOU OFFER A DISCOUNT FOR REFERRALS?
We certainly do! For every person you refer who shoots with Chappetto Square, you will receive $30 to use toward future services.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We require a 50% down payment to hold your session reservation, and we require a minimum cancellation/postponement notice of TWO BUSINESS DAYS to avoid forfeiting your down payment.
**IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE**
We absolutely want you to feel comfortable, but please be advised that the studio is in a private apartment. You’re welcome to visit our space in advance and feel free to bring a friend for your session.
